There is a tendency, if not a nature to understand things through a model of one's own understanding.  That does not say whether one can or can't(I will avoid Kant) understand another's model, or whether one needs to understand another's(anyone's) to get somewhere.  But recognition of the thesis, antithesis, and synthesis(~process~), does not obviate, prove, solve or even have a point.
